Emergency Repair of the ME Turbocharger
When one vessel  was heavily loaded, the lack of oil in
the main engine turbocharger caused the rotor shaft bearing
position to burn and wear, and the air sealing , turbine blade and
compressor impeller to be seriously worn. The vessel was forced to
anchor because of damage of main enigne turbocharger.
FG Marine was ordered to overcome the technical difficulties, we
repair and assemble turbocharger into vessel and test successfully
in only 2 days, which ensured the transportation of the ship and
saved the ship owner a huge economic loss.

After repaired by FG Marine, the turbocharger was reborn and tested without any problems, and vessel  headed for its next destination at a speed of 13.9 knots.
After eight voyages, the main engineTurbocharger was again disassembled for internal inspection and the internal parts
were all in perfectcondition!
